If terrorism removes the tagging of the word Islam, it would
have been long abolished. Terror schools and scholars are well aware of the
power of Islam for their sustainability. Islam tagging helps terror groups to
propagate in following ways:

Recruitment:

Every child is born with instinctive liking towards good and
pious. Terrorists exploit this ‘good’ instinct under the pretext of Islam and
lure them into the most heinous of all crimes- killing innocent people. Nothing
on this planet could influence young minds towards such act except when
adulterated with the will of God.

Gathering Sympathies and Positive Energy:

Any mission to spread far and wide need support and well
wishes of the people. What began in one corner of the world has successfully
spread its expanse all over the world. The immense support and warmth the
terror has received world over wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for
its tagging with the term Islam. These sympathies spill even during the
aftermath of a terror strike where blatant acts of killing of innocent people
are tagged as the service to the God. If one observes keenly, terrorists never
fail to communicate one message that people who could recite Quran are spared.
Terror organizations use holy texts and references to shield themselves from
the scorns, ill wishes and negative energies coming towards them after these
gruesome terror attacks.

Funding:

The vision of the terror is sustained by the tagging of
Islam which enables terror outfits to demand alms from the followers under the
pretext of ‘godly’ work.

Self Confidence:

Terrorists are quick to debunk all the theories of love and
brotherhood by quoting versus in Quran that propagate violence against non
believers. Terrorists feel confident that their acts are certified by Quran and
they are following the ‘real’ religion. However, interpretation of holy books
requires a basic understanding of life, some intellect, lots of patience and
open mindedness. A preconceived mind cannot gain knowledge as it converts every
piece of information conducive to its notions, blatantly neglecting the truth.

Terror ‘protecting’ the religion of Islam is akin to an armed
man holding a human hostage by the gun point to save himself from the police.
The hostage doesn’t need arm man for his protection, but the armed man needs
hostage for his survival. As one of the most pious religions, Islam doesn’t
need guardianship of hatred obsessed maniacs who contradict its very essence.
It flourishes with love and compassion.  Allahu
akbar (God is great) is Allahu muhibba (God is love).
