Nirali Vaidya Blogs

1. Only one strong vow is required to attract everyone’s attention. Unlike me,  you keep on changing vows, first it was fight against corruption, now it’s against some individual candidate, tomorrow it will be something else. Be careful, you are risking your reputation.

2. External funds and support alone cannot help a warrior sustain without internal grit and strong vision. This will eventually reflect in poor health and performance which I am seeing in your case. For a larger good, take rest from war. If you are still adamant, start surya namaskar and character building before you launch attacks.
3. When defeat is inevitable, proclaim yourself as a martyr. Like I had no defence against Arjun’s sharp attacks, you too don’t have any defence against the attacks of development, investments, foreign policies, diplomatic strategies, etc. coming your way. Better embrace them in your stride then fighting against them. This will divert your brand value from being a looser to a hero.

4. Never start lecturing till your last breath no matter how badly you loose. Leave some final comment that is high on either emotional, spiritual or intellectual quotient. I gave Vishnushahastranaam during my last moments. This way you do not allow people to get rid of you anytime soon.

5. Maintain as much amiability with your opponents as to protect your head and health. It was Arjun who provided my hanging head, a pillow of arrows and also quenched my thirst. You don’t know who will be of use to you and when. Hence some good relations with opponents do help.

6. There is a limit to people’s patience no matter how good the drama is. Now is the auspicious time of Uttarayan, call quits before people loose their whatever remaining sympathies for you.

7. Last but not the least, you cannot be risking your life for the packages people give you for being on their side.  It’s not worth it especially when you are not a bachelor like me.
